End-to-End Migration Testing

Arguably the Czech Republic’s largest digital project (2020-2025) aimed to transform client services, deploying a new core banking system, channels, microservices architecture, and modern development technologies.

The goal of an arguably the most significant digital project in the Czech Republic during the years 2020 – 2025, has been to innovate the client’s service through a radical digital transformation. A new core banking system, new channels, replacement of the card management system, simplification of services and processes, a new microservices architecture, and new development technologies has been deployed.

The goal of our engagement has been to setup, plan, design, implement, execute, and manage the End-to-end Testing (E2E Testing) of the migration of retail and corporate clients from the “old bank” to the “new bank”. The migration of retail and corporate clients to the bank’s entirely new proposition will be carried out gradually until 2025.

The E2E Testing of the migration are a type of software testing that validates the entire migration workflow from start to finish. They simulate real user scenarios to ensure that all components of the migration system work together correctly, including interactions with integrated systems. Also, these tests provide feedback to help identify situations that indicate problems or opportunities for service improvement.
