Optimizing IT projects

Except for the deep knowledge and extensive experience in project management methodology (Agile, Prince, PMBOK and others), we believe a pure project management mechanics is not sufficient. Thus, when helping to optimize a project, we apply a holistic approach covering the following dimensions:

  1. Strategy – alignment of the project with the business strategy.
  2. Stakeholders – members of the project team as well as all interested entities, internal or external to the organization.
  3. Scope – components of the project scope such as architecture, software development process, and quality assurance.
  4. Teams – both internal project team members and external sourcing providers (see also IT Sourcing & Service Providers).
  5. Execution – people playing key roles in the project management, project management processes, tools, and techniques.
